Iodine Deficiency Test

Description

This Iodine Deficiency Test evaluates whole body sufficiency for Iodine. After ingesting a 50mg Iodoral® tablet, you collect your urine for 24 hours then mail in a small sample. With this test, Iodine sufficiency is determined by comparing the amount of Iodine taken to the amount excreted in the urine.

**Before participating in this evaluation, discuss any history of thyroid surgery and/or radiation, Hashimoto disease, and any previous problems with your thyroid with you health care provider or in a consultation with Dr. Douillard.**
