Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), also known as Indian Gooseberry, is a small fruit from the Amla tree.

Amalaki may be most well known for its support of antioxidant activity and healthy skin via the encouragement of collagen and elastic production. In this way, Amalaki supports not only the health of the outer skin, but also the inner skin that lines the gut, respiratory tract, and all the mucous membranes of the body.

Notably, Amalaki has also been shown to encourage healthy good and bad cholesterol levels in support of optimal heart and cardiovascular health.

Suggested Use: Take 1 capsule 3x/day after meals or as directed by your health care practitioner.

	Immune boost!
	I take Amalaki when my digestive tract gets out of balance and sore in order to avoid suppression of my immune system. As a mom of 2 I have no time to to be out of commission!

	Helps with heat in the digestive system
	During the end of summer and early fall, my digestion can get too hot: I'll start to get sensitive taste buds and indigestion. Just a few days of Amalaki brings my gut back into balance. I also take Amalaki regularly because my body loves this less acidic whole foods form of Vitamin C (rather than typical processed ascorbic acid). 	My vitamin C source!
	I take Amalaki namely for my skin, as vitamin C is known to be great for the skin, and I have seen drastic improvement in my skin tone.
