|How will my package be shipped?
All products are sent within 1-3 business days of placing your order except for our biannual group event Colorado Cleanse (see below). You can choose between the United States Postal Service, UPS, or SurePost during the checkout process. For those who live nearby or will be traveling to the Boulder area soon, you may elect to pick up your package at our office. To enable this service during checkout, please enter the zip code 80301 in the shipping address field.
How long will it take my package to arrive once it ships?
- UPS Ground: 1-6 business days (depending on what zone you are in, see map below). Tracking number provided.
- SurePost: 2-7 business days. A service provided by UPS, but delivered to you by the US Postal Service. Travels at the same speed as UPS Ground (see map below) plus 1 business day for your local post office to deliver to you. Tracking number provided.
- UPS 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select or Next Day Air: See details for expedited shipping below; delivery times guaranteed & tracking number provided.
- US Postal Service First Class: 5-7 business days. Available for parcels under 13 ounces; no guaranteed delivery; tracking number provided.
Please keep in mind that holidays and bad weather (even in other areas of the country) can delay your package.
Do you ship Expedited or Next Day Shipping?
Expedited shipping is available via UPS during the checkout process. Any expedited orders must be placed online by 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST). If you would like to change your shipping method or place a phone order with expedited shipping, please call us at 303.516.4848 no later than 12:00 PM MST. Expedited orders received after 12:00 PM MST will ship out the next business day. Sending an email to request overnight shipping may cause delays.
Please note that Expedited orders do *not* travel on the weekends, i.e. a Next Day Air shipment that leaves our warehouse on a Friday will arrive to you on Monday, the next business day. Also note that Expedited order delivery times do not include the day the order ships, i.e. a 3 Day Select shipment that leaves our warehouse on Monday will arrive on Thursday, because that is the 3rd business day *after* it has shipped.
You said the Colorado Cleanse doesn’t ship right away? Why not?
We sell two main kinds of Colorado Cleanse kits: the Anytime Colorado Cleanse and the Event Colorado Cleanse. Anytime Colorado Cleanse kits are available year-round and will ship within 1-3 business days of placing your order just like the rest of our products. The Event Colorado Cleanse, however, is a guided group event, and registration is only available during specific dates each spring and fall. If you join us for our biannual Event Colorado Cleanse, your kit may take up to a week to ship as we tend to get our heaviest order volume during this time and may be dealing with a bit of a backlog of orders. As long as you order before the end of registration, your Event Colorado Cleanse Kit will arrive no later than one week before the guided group event begins.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to most destinations around the world! Our rates are calculated through UPS International or our 3rd Party International Postal Service which utilizes the postal service of your local country for delivery. Please note that your parcel will be subject to any duty fees imposed by your country and that we have a legal obligation to accurately report items and costs on customs documents; we will not falsify customs documents. Most countries charge duty fees or VAT taxes in addition to the shipping charges associated with your purchase. Our standard return policy applies to international orders and we cannot refund shipping charges due to postal delays, customs duties, or customs delays.
We rarely have trouble getting our herbal supplements and other products through customs but it happens occasionally. It is your responsibility to know the laws and regulations of your country before placing an order with us. LifeSpa is not responsible for orders that are delayed or returned to us due to customer noncompliance with local customs regulations, even if you are unaware of them. You can also find a list of comprehensive regulations for your country by going to the UPS Website and selecting the United States as the Origin Country, your country as the Destination Country and clicking “Select All” for Country Regulation Topics, then the “Show Regulations” button. If you are in any way unsure as to the import regulations for your country, please contact us before placing an order and we can help to ensure there will be no delays due to missing or incomplete paperwork. All of our product ingredients are listed online or you can call or email us to verify any questionable ingredients.
International Customers - Don't Be Caught Unaware Of Fees
Upon delivery, you will be charged a brokerage or customs fee based off the VAT and/or Customs Duties of your respective country. Please be aware that these fees can be upwards of 20% of the total cost of your order. We know this can be an unpleasant surprise, so please calculate these additional costs when making your purchase and plan accordingly.
If you refuse your package due to brokerage fees or your package can not be cleared by customs due to incomplete or missing paperwork on your part, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the items back to the United States, which often cost more than the brokerage fees themselves (these return shipping rates are set by the courier, we do not have control over the cost). This cost will be subtracted from the total amount refunded for any goods returned to us under these circumstances.
International Shipping Methods
UPS International parcels are generally delivered in the destination country within 7-10 business days but may be held in customs for up to four weeks. UPS packaged may incur brokerage fees. Brokerage fees are different than customs duties or other taxes.
Our 3rd Party International Shipping usually delivers within 10-14 business days. However, please note that door-to-door tracking is only provided for the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Orders coming from all other countries will receive a tracking number but we cannot guarantee that the information will update once it has left the United States. Though this is rarely the case, international parcels have been known to take longer than four weeks to arrive at their final destination. Please be aware that because of the often unpredictable nature of shipping herbal supplements internationally, please allow up to 4 weeks for the delivery of your parcel. Help! I changed my mind on shipping or products but I just checked out–what now?!
If you ordered the wrong product online or realized after checkout that you wanted a different shipping method, please call us immediately at 303-516-4848 to adjust your order. Often, our orders are processed within one business day during the week. If you want to change your order outside of our usual business hours of 9-5pm MDT Monday – Friday, leave a detailed message on our secure voicemail system! Say and spell your first and last name, clearly say your order number, and leave a contact number where we can reach you during business hours the following day. You may also email your corrections and contact information to email@example.com but please be advised that an email request may cause delays.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is calculated based on the weight of your parcel and the distance it travels (zones).
I have a PO Box. Can I still get UPS delivered there?
UPS does not deliver to PO boxes but they do deliver to rural residential addresses where the US Postal Service may not. If you would like to have your parcel delivered to your PO box instead, please choose from the available United States Postal Service or SurePost shipping options during checkout. Please note that if you select a UPS service option but enter a PO Box shipping address during checkout, we reserve the right to change the carrier and/or your order may be delayed.
I didn’t get my package yet - what should I do?
Once your parcel is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number that you can track on www.ups.com or www.usps.com. If your tracking number shows your parcel has been delivered, try checking with neighbors or giving your local carrier office a ring–it’s possible you received a notice that blew away. If you didn’t receive a tracking number, please give us a call at 303-516-4848 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look into it for you.
